The $127 government fee consists of:

$67 which is the standard fee for renewal of a passport.

Please NOTE: as of March 8th 2005 a $12 security fee was added to the Department of State fees. The result is the $67 amount. This fee may not show up on your DS-82 form however it must be paid.

and a $60 government expedite fee.
