Please collect and prepare and send the following documents.
1. You must send your valid US Passport with at least 6 months of validity left and one blank visa page (blank endorsement pages in your passport are not acceptable).
If applying for a passport and an Indian visa with American Passport Express you will now need to wait to receive your finished passport to apply for your visa.

*NOTE: If you are a former citizen of India, and are applying for a visa in an American passport for the first time, you must submit your Indian passport for cancellation and return. If you are a former citizen of India, and are applying for a visa in a new US passport booklet, you must submit a copy of the Indian visa in the old american passport.
2. Two Passport Photos. They must be 2x2, color or black and white with a plain light or white background and show a full front view of face.

5. Business cover letter. A business letter, detailing purpose of trip, name and address of contact in India, and that your company will be financially responsible for you while in India. Also include the length of the visa you require (either 6 month, 1 year or 10 year). 10 year business visas are only granted to applicants who work for a company that has a joint business venture with a company in India. (This needs to be proven through an invitation letter from the company in India specifically requesting the 10 year visa)
6.Please include a clear color photocopy of your valid drivers license, or a copy of a utility bill for proof of jurisdiction
